Getty Images<\/p>\n<p>Former Red Sox pitcher Josh Beckett made the wild comment, with Bradford revealing the news while hosting the righty on his \u201cBaseball Isn\u2019t Boring\u201d podcast on Friday.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIt was me, it was me,\u201d Beckett <a href=\"https:\/\/x.com\/BBisntBoring\/status\/2050170750166810877?s=20\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener nofollow\">said while laughing on the show<\/a>. \u201cIt was so good, and I just felt like it fit.<\/p>\n<p>Beckett spent seven seasons with Boston and was on their 2007 World Series championship team, along with being a teammate of Cora\u2019s for two years.<\/p>\n<p>He added that he believes that Cora was the perfect coach to continue leading the Red Sox.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI know A.C. [Alex Cora] really well and I thought he was the perfect guy to be there, and he kinda [stabilized] that ship. As we know in Boston, it\u2019s 162 one-game seasons, and you can\u2019t have a guy running that ship who can\u2019t understand that.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI know A.C. was perfect was that. Who they get next, they could be perfect for that as well. AP<\/p>\n<p>The Red Sox sit at the bottom of the AL East with a 12-19 record, and fans are pointing to ownership for the team\u2019s problems.<\/p>\n<p>Shortly before Boston\u2019s game against the Astros on Friday, a small plane circled around Fenway Park with a banner reading \u201cFIRE CRAIG!
