Robert Hungerford said the crash happened around 3 a.m. in the 7700 block of Merrill Road.<\/p>\n<p>According to Hungerford, a man in his late-30s was driving a Toyota Camry eastbound on Merrill Road when he rear-ended the victim, who was also eastbound on Merrill Road and approaching the light at Wedgefield Boulevard.<\/p>\n<p>Hungerford said the collision caused the victim&#8217;s vehicle to &#8220;spin clockwise off the roadway into a concrete pole.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Paramedics then arrived on scene and pronounced the victim dead, Hungerford said.
