{"id":768292,"date":"2026-05-02T13:58:15","date_gmt":"2026-05-02T13:58:15","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/us\/768292\/"},"modified":"2026-05-02T13:58:15","modified_gmt":"2026-05-02T13:58:15","slug":"driver-fatally-strikes-man-after-argument-in-gage-park","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/us\/768292\/","title":{"rendered":"Driver fatally strikes man after argument in Gage Park"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>A man was killed when he was hit by a vehicle early Saturday in the Gage Park neighborhood. <\/p>\n<p>The man, 65, was standing on the sidewalk in the 5000 block of South Western Avenue when the driver of a blue SUV pulled over and began arguing with him around 2:40 a.m., Chicago police said. <\/p>\n<p>The driver then drove onto the curb and ran over the man before leaving the scene, police said. <\/p>\n<p>The man was taken to Mount Sinai Hospital and was pronounced dead, police said.
