A woman was hit and killed<\/a> by several vehicles while walking along Highway 6<\/a> Thursday night in west Harris County, according to deputies.<\/p>\n The crash happened just before 9:30 p.m. in the 8400 block of South Highway 6<\/a> near Beechnut. Investigators say the woman was walking in the southbound lane of Highway 6<\/a> when she was hit by multiple vehicles that didn\u2019t stop and was pronounced dead at the scene.<\/p>\n A northbound driver stopped to report the crash, and investigators believe the first vehicle that hit the woman may have been a white or silver GMC pickup.<\/p>\n The investigation is ongoing.
