Less than a third of NYC Jewish voters think socialist Mayor Zohran Mamdani is doing a good job \u2014 and most link the Big Apple\u2019s rising antisemitism to Hizzoner and his comrades mainstreaming anti-Zionism<\/a>, a new poll shows.<\/p>\n

Forty percent of Jews who voted in last year\u2019s mayoral race think Mamdani is doing a \u201cpoor\u201d job, 32% rate his performance \u201cexcellent\u201d or \u201cgood,\u201d 18% say he\u2019s doing a \u201cfair\u201d job, and the rest are undecided, according to The Jewish Majority<\/a> poll exclusively provided to The Post. <\/p>\n

The advocacy group\u2019s poll also shows a whopping 82% of Jewish voters \u2013 including two-thirds who voted for Mamdani \u2013 are \u201cvery\u201d or \u201csomewhat\u201d concerned about the rise in antisemitism.<\/p>\n

And of those concerned, 73% attribute the spike to Mamdani and other public figures \u201cnormalizing\u201d anti-Zionism, so it\u2019s more widely accepted publicly.<\/p>\n

\u201cThis data validates something felt in the Jewish community for a long time: a sense that antisemitism is really spiraling out of control. . . . and also how strongly people link that to the normalization of anti-Zionism,\u201d The Jewish Majority executive director Jonathan Schulman told The Post. \u201cI think this is a real kind of a wake-up point here.\u201d<\/p>\n

There were 143 reported hate crimes in NYC from January through March \u2014 a 11.7% increase from the same period last year. Seventy-eight \u2014 or 55% \u2014 of them targeted Jews and included acts of violence and swastikas scrawled on walls, according to the NYPD.<\/a><\/p>\n

The poll \u2014 conducted Feb. 17-28 \u2014 surveyed 665 Jewish voters from all political parties who cast votes in the mayoral election, including 174 who voted for Mamdani. Other findings:<\/p>\n
