PHOENIX \u2014 A fire broke out at a duplex near 24th and Van Buren streets Saturday morning, said Phoenix fire.\u00a0<\/p>\n
Firefighters responded to reports of an apartment fire around 10:15 a.m.<\/p>\n
When crews arrived, they found smoke and fire coming from the back of a single-story duplex, and it had extended into multiple structures, according to the Phoenix Fire Department.\u00a0<\/p>\n
Fire crews cleared the occupants and quickly extinguished the fire.\u00a0<\/p>\n
A couple of duplex units were affected by the fire, a total of six people were displaced and no injuries resulted from the fire, said Phoenix Fire.\u00a0<\/p>\n
The Community Assistance Program is on scene to assist the displaced with their needs.\u00a0<\/p>\n
The cause of the fire is under investigation.\u00a0<\/p>\n
