The Post spoke to employee Gustavo Tinajero\u00a0who\u2019s been with IKEA for 32 years. <\/p>\n

\u201cI love it. I\u2019m so excited for the new store. if something is out of stock, we can have it in our store for customers the next day so the they don\u2019t have to drive further out to pick up a product,\u201d he said, with his daughter Nadia by his side.<\/p>\n

One of IKEA\u2019s signature staples \u2014 it\u2019s iconic meatball dish \u2014 remains a major draw for loyal customers. Christopher Sadowski<\/p>\n

Inside, shoppers got to explore thousands of urban-friendly products, with over 3,000 items ready to grab and go, while taking in the sleek showrooms and curated small-space designs.<\/p>\n

Unlike IKEA\u2019s sprawling suburban warehouses, the Culver City location offers a more streamlined experience designed for city shoppers \u2014 while still delivering the beloved Scandinavian staples that have made the brand a global phenomenon.<\/p>\n

The store also features \u201cSwedish Bites,\u201d a grab-and-go cafe offering snacks, sandwiches, and drinks, plus fan favorites like cinnamon buns and frozen Swedish meatballs from the IKEA Food Market.<\/p>\n

For many Angelenos, the true highlight is IKEA itself<\/a>, as the city celebrates the long-awaited arrival of this Westside destination.<\/p>\n

The store will operate daily from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. and sits conveniently near the 405 and 10 freeways. Parking is available within the Helms Design District, as well as free spots across the street at Venice Boulevard and Helms Avenue.<\/p>\n

IKEA currently operates full-service stores across the Golden State in Burbank, Carson, Costa Mesa, Covina, East Palo Alto, Emeryville, San Diego, San Francisco, and West Sacramento.<\/p>\n
