{"id":769406,"date":"2026-05-03T01:39:16","date_gmt":"2026-05-03T01:39:16","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/us\/769406\/"},"modified":"2026-05-03T01:39:16","modified_gmt":"2026-05-03T01:39:16","slug":"22-year-old-man-killed-in-single-vehicle-crash-on-i-10-off-ramp-in-phoenix","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/us\/769406\/","title":{"rendered":"22-year-old man killed in single-vehicle crash on I-10 off-ramp in Phoenix"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>PHOENIX \u2014 A 22-year-old man is dead after a single-vehicle crash on an Interstate 10 off-ramp in Phoenix early Saturday morning, police said.<\/p>\n<p>Phoenix police responded to the area of <a href=\"https:\/\/maps.app.goo.gl\/gmne2i7ZBdiHf8oz7\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener nofollow\">3rd and Moreland streets<\/a> at about 2:45 a.m. for reports of a collision.<\/p>\n<p>When officers arrived, they found the driver, identified as Cory Doberstein, in critical condition. The Phoenix Fire Department transported Doberstein to a local hospital, where he was later pronounced dead.<\/p>\n<p>RELATED STORIES<\/p>\n<p>Detectives with the Phoenix Police Department\u2019s Vehicular Crimes Unit are investigating the incident.<\/p>\n<p> An initial investigation suggests Doberstein was driving westbound on the 3rd Street I-10 off-ramp when his vehicle collided with a barrier wall.<\/p>\n<p>Authorities believe speed to be a factor into the crash, but it remains unclear whether impairment played a role, and the investigation remains ongoing.<\/p>\n<p><a class=\"twitter-follow-button\" href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/veenstra_david\" data-show-count=\"false\" rel=\"noopener nofollow\" target=\"_blank\">Follow @veenstra_david<\/a><\/p>\n<p>We want to hear from you.<\/p>\n<p style=\"margin-top: 0px;\">Have a story idea or tip?
