Whatley has 3,615 votes, which makes up 58.91% of voters counted, and Randklev has 2,650 votes, which is 62.95% of votes.<\/p>\n<p>Since no candidate for the Place 4 seat received more than 50% of the votes, the top two candidates, Medeiros and Jarrett Armstrong will go into a runoff election on June 13.<\/p>\n<p>All results remain unofficial until canvassed.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Posted May 2, 7:15 p.m., <\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Unofficial results show Russ Medeiros is leading for the Keller City Council Place 4 seat, Chris Whatley is currently ahead for the Place 5 seat, and Charles Randklev is in the lead for the Place 6 seat.<\/p>\n<p>According to the unofficial early voting totals released from the Tarrant County Elections Office website, Medeiros has secured 1,792 votes, or 43% of the votes tallied so far. Whatley has 2,529 votes, which makes up 60% of voters counted so far, and Randklev has 2,650 votes, which is 63% of current votes.<\/p>\n<p><strong>What\u2019s happening? <\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Three Keller City Council seats are up for election May 2.<\/p>\n<p>Elda Rata, Jarrett Armstrong and Medeiros are competing for the <a href=\"https:\/\/communityimpact.com\/dallas-fort-worth\/keller-roanoke-northeast-fort-worth\/election\/2026\/03\/16\/qa-meet-the-candidates-running-for-keller-city-council-place-4\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">Place 4<\/a> seat.<\/p>\n<p>Incumbent Whatley goes up against Ned Brown and Ashley Stone Hernandez for the <a href=\"https:\/\/communityimpact.com\/dallas-fort-worth\/keller-roanoke-northeast-fort-worth\/election\/2026\/03\/11\/qa-meet-the-candidates-running-for-keller-city-council-place-5\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">Place 5<\/a> seat.<\/p>\n<p>Zane Kupper and Randklev are vying for the <a href=\"https:\/\/communityimpact.com\/dallas-fort-worth\/keller-roanoke-northeast-fort-worth\/election\/2026\/03\/11\/qa-meet-the-candidates-running-for-keller-city-council-place-6\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">Place 6<\/a> seat on Keller City Council.<\/p>\n<p><strong>The breakdown<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Totals from Tarrant County ballots cast May 2 have yet to be released. Polls closed at 7 p.m., although voters who were in line at 7 p.m. were still able to cast ballots.<\/p>\n<p>During the early voting period, 52,732 residents cast ballots, while 6,480 returned ballots by mail, according to county election data.
