The Chicago Bears\u2019 schedule hasn\u2019t been released yet, but when could we find out what the team\u2019s 2026 season could look like?<\/p>\n

In recent years the NFL has released their schedule in mid-May, and while we haven\u2019t hit that point in the calendar yet, the league also hasn\u2019t teased when that slate will be released.<\/p>\n

So when could we see the NFL schedule? Who are the Bears set to play in 2026? And are there any wrinkles fans could see in the schedule for next season?<\/p>\n

When could we see the NFL schedule?<\/p>\n

Normally, the NFL has been releasing its schedule in mid-May, but could that schedule release be delayed this season?<\/p>\n

“I don’t think it’s coming out in June, but that second week in May has been our target the last few years, but I don’t know that it’s impossible to think about that third week in May,” Mike North, NFL VP of Broadcast Planning, said in a recent \u201cIt\u2019s Always Game Day in Buffalo\u201d podcast interview.<\/a><\/p>\n

According to Pro Football Talk,<\/a> part of the uncertainty over the schedule release involves the NFL trying to sell a five-game package to a broadcaster, including a game in Australia between the Los Angeles Rams and San Francisco 49ers in Week 1.<\/p>\n

Who are the Bears\u2019 opponents this season?<\/p>\n

The Bears have plenty of interesting games both at home and on the road next season, as they\u2019ll (likely) welcome the AFC South champion Jaguars, the AFC East champion Patriots, and the NFC East champion Eagles to Soldier Field.<\/p>\n

The Bears will also have to hit the road to take on the NFC South-champion Panthers and the reigning Super Bowl champion Seahawks, as well as the Buffalo Bills, who are opening their new stadium for the 2026 campaign.<\/p>\n

Here are the Bears\u2019 home games:<\/p>\n

Detroit Lions, Green Bay Packers, Jacksonville Jaguars, Minnesota Vikings, New Orleans Saints, New England Patriots, New York Jets, Philadelphia Eagles, Tampa Bay Buccaneers<\/p>\n

Here are the Bears\u2019 road games:<\/p>\n

Atlanta Falcons, Buffalo Bills, Carolina Panthers, Detroit Lions, Green Bay Packers, Miami Dolphins, Minnesota Vikings, Seattle Seahawks<\/p>\n

Could there be any wrinkles to the Bears\u2019 schedule?<\/p>\n

The NFL will play nine games overseas next season<\/a>, including three in London and games in Mexico City, Rio de Janeiro, Melbourne, Madrid, Munich and Paris.<\/p>\n

While a few of those games are already locked in, including the Ravens and Cowboys in Brazil and the Rams and 49ers in Australia, there are a few that haven\u2019t had teams locked into.<\/p>\n

One game to keep an eye on will be the Madrid game, as the Bears have international marketing rights in Spain and do have a road game against the Falcons on their schedule next season.<\/p>\n

The Bears also have the Lions on their schedule twice, with the Lions set to play in Munich, and they have the Jaguars on the schedule, with Jacksonville playing two games in London.<\/p>\n
