Ryan is being held without bond at the Baltimore County Detention Center.<\/p>\n<p data-testid=\"text-container\">The victim, 74-year-old Robert MacMeekin,  was an attorney at <a href=\"https:\/\/www.fgkmlaw.com\/medical-criminal-case-attorney\" target=\"_self\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" title=\"https:\/\/www.fgkmlaw.com\/medical-criminal-case-attorney\">Fine, Kelly &amp; MacMeekin<\/a>  in Timonium, online records show. MacMeekin  had been practicing law since 1975, according to the firm\u2019s website, where <a href=\"https:\/\/www.fgkmlaw.com\/medical-criminal-case-attorney\" target=\"_self\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" title=\"https:\/\/www.fgkmlaw.com\/medical-criminal-case-attorney\">online reviews<\/a> praised his legal acumen and his \u201cstraight forward, fast paced\u201d style.<\/p>\n<p data-testid=\"text-container\">The Banner  contacted the law firm for comment. <\/p>\n<p data-testid=\"text-container\">Officers responded around 2:25 p.m. Saturday to the tree-lined Millgate community in Northern Baltimore County, where  MacMeekin had lived since at least 1991, according to property records. There, they said, MacMeekin was pronounced dead at the scene and the incident appeared \u201cdomestic related.\u201d<\/p>\n<p data-testid=\"text-container\">Police have not offered more information into the motive or whether there were others present at the time of the shooting.<\/p>\n<p data-testid=\"text-container\">Online court records show Ryan waived having an attorney present at his initial appearance Sunday.
