Luckily, ATEEZ and their fans, ATINY, reunited at New York’s Citi Field again on July 13 for their 2025 world tour, IN YOUR FANTASY. The eight ATEEZ members, HONGJOONG, SEONGHWA, YUNHO, YEOSANG, SAN, MINGI, WOOYOUNG, and JONGHO, put on a three-hour concert featuring fascinating performances, including newer songs from their GOLDEN HOUR era, which New York fans enjoyed live for the first time.

ATEEZ’s hits set the stage for their grand entrance before an image of a closed red curtain on the screens opened, insinuating it was showtime. An introductory VCR displayed the members in mysterious rooms surrounded by symbolic objects that connected to different elements of their past in ATEEZ. A live band played a roaring opener as the screens rose, unveiling ATEEZ in black and silver-studded outfits. As fireworks shot sky-high, they invigorated concertgoers with a blazing performance of “BOUNCY (K-HOT CHILLI PEPPERS).”

The lively crowd energy intensified with a fiery, steamy performance of “Fireworks (I’m The One)” and a paso doble-inspired display of GOLDEN HOUR: Part. 1’s “Blind.” After ATEEZ introduced themselves and their band, WOOYOUNG gave insight into the tour’s inspiration, sharing that they wanted the setlist to satisfy all of ATINY’s fantasies. Then, ATEEZ lit up the stage with “Man on Fire.” Red and black lighting flashed as they lined up behind a long table while conveying the resilient lyrics through vivid facial expressions and synchronized dancing.

Cr. Angela L.

Each member expressed their individuality through unique solo performances, starting with YUNHO. Wearing an all-black suit to stand out against his dancers’ all white ones, YUNHO brought precise moves to his groovy track, “Slide to me.” SEONGHWA switched the atmosphere, taking a sensual approach to his song, “Skin.” The group and their dancers returned with a passionate selection, “WE KNOW,” incorporating stairs into the choreography.

YEOSANG took the spotlight next for “Legacy,” emerging on the extended platform in an all-black outfit with leather pants, gloves, and a top with feather detailing. He beautifully channeled the deep, conflicting emotions of “Legacy” through dance, taking concertgoers through an intense journey. A dramatic and suspenseful transition, YEOSANG strided to the main stage with smoke trailing behind him and the introduction of fan favorite “Guerrilla” playing. ATINY sang enthusiastically and shook the stadium with the iconic “break the wall” fan chant.

After bringing the house down with “Guerrilla,” ATEEZ headed backstage while fans were entertained with another VCR. The symbolism of the opening VCR continued as more individual videos played, including SAN in a room with purple umbrellas, YEOSANG engulfed in orange balloons, MINGI surrounded by rows of red chairs, and more.

WOOYOUNG shocked the crowd during his solo, “Sagittarius,” emerging in an all-black look featuring an unzipped leather jacket. Not only did his revealing outfit have the crowd blaring, but his crisp dance moves and beautiful vocals enticed onlookers. The stage was illuminated with blue lights before stars and constellations lit up on the LED screens for the final verse, where WOOYOUNG rose high on a lifted platform. The live band quieted down as JONGHO opted to begin “To be your light” acapella, allowing the audience to take in his voice. Once the band commenced, a beautiful blue and pink sunset appeared behind him. While JONGHO sang his heart out, there was a minor technical issue with the screen to his right, but he never missed a beat.

Dreamy images of blue clouds appeared as the other members reemerged for a heartfelt performance of “Turbulence.” Having switched out of the black and silver ensembles, ATEEZ went for more casual looks with a color palette of light blue, white, black, and tan. Set to slow jazz, each member swayed toward a camera miming sips from empty glasses, a clever lead-in for the cocktail-themed track “Lemon Drop.”

Cr. Angela L.

After HONGJOONG called his friends, the backup dancers, and encouraged the crowd to “get a little tipsy together,” ATEEZ kept spirits going with another song that references liquor, “Shaboom.” With a champagne tower on the center LED screen, ATEEZ and their dancers showcased a vibrant synchronized routine. In a moment that exhilarated the crowd more, MINGI was spun in the air by the dancers. Capping off a high-energy performance, ATEEZ partied with their band, who played impressive instrumental solos.

Joined by dancers, SAN gave a sultry performance of “Creep.” The electric guitar complemented SAN’s smooth vocals as he captivated everyone with his dance moves and intense facial expressions. Revealed in all-white outfits, ATEEZ appeared onstage trapped in cages that looked like jail cells. Their dancers moved the cells in various formations as the members sang “Outlaw,” allowing ATEEZ to move back and forth into each other’s cells. Halfway through, they escaped the cells to finish with eye-catching choreography. The concert turned into a rave with HONGJOONG’s “NO1.” The crowd jumped and raised their lightsticks, LIGHTINYs, high while HONGJOONG played beats behind a DJ booth and ran around the stage energetically.

ATEEZ had to think on their feet to solve an unexpected turn of events. Every member, except MINGI, who was preparing for his solo, walked onstage and noticed their microphones were not working. HONGJOONG tried communicating the issue using hand signals, prompting SAN to rush backstage and grab an iPad. HONGJOONG wrote messages down for ATINY, including “5 minutes pls” and “Cause ATINY killed it.”

Once the technical issue was resolved, the members introduced MINGI. Giving a two-in-one solo, MINGI revved up the crowd with “AUTOBAHN” and “ROAR.” He appeared on a lift for his first song and led a barking chant during the latter, which fans enthusiastically followed along with before he rapped vigorously. His fellow members came back out to reflect on the remaining solos and unplanned intermission, with HONGJOONG claiming the sound system stopped because “ATINY was insane.”

Then, the group executed back-to-back performances of GOLDEN HOUR title tracks. Before commencing, YUNHO led each side of the stadium in belting the chorus of “WORK” from GOLDEN HOUR: Part. 1. Venturing onto their GOLDEN HOUR: Part. 2 title track, “Ice On My Teeth,” ATEEZ executed smooth choreography. Rounding off the trilogy, ATEEZ satisfied fans’ fantasies with a spooky-themed performance of “In Your Fantasy,” GOLDEN HOUR: Part. 3’s deluxe title track. Although the song was released days before the New York show, many fans enthusiastically sang along to every word.

Cr. Angela L.

Another intermission featured a red curtain on screen with scrambled letters that gradually unveiled a secret message for ATINY: “The fantasy we shared still lingers on. Shall we begin the spell that makes us happy? Are you ready to feel it? All I need is your voice.”

Suddenly, the members appeared on screen in a casual prerecorded tour bus video while singing “Castle,” with accompanying Korean and English lyrics for fans to sing along. Dressed in official tour shirts, ATEEZ energized the crowd with an invigorating medley of hits, including “Say My Name,” “Crazy Form,” and more. After taking some commemorative photos with fans, ATEEZ reflected on the concert and thanked everyone for attending. The sentimental nature continued with “Now this house ain’t a home” before the energy lifted with “Enough.” Before what seemed like the finale, they gave more farewells preceding another epic fireworks show. Feigning their exit, they reappeared onstage for one final song, “The Real.” ATEEZ successfully completed a show that surely satisfied the fantasies of ATINY, with emotive performances, captivating dance routines, and touching moments.

PHOTO GALLERY

Cr.
