\n\tIn an interview with On3\u2019s Chris Low <\/a>last week, Meyer shared his surprise upon learning that Kyle Whittingham, his defensive coordinator at Utah in 2003 and 2004, would coach his archrival.\n<\/p>\n
\n\t\u201cI\u2019m a Buckeye, so my first thought was, \u2018What?\u2019\u201d Meyer told Low. \u201cHe\u2019s my friend. Here\u2019s how I see it, however: Meyer can respect his friend, and he can respect the hire \u2014 but that\u2019s the limit when it comes to the \u201cWolverines.\u201d\n<\/p>\n

\n\tSpeaking of Jones, many social media \u201cexperts\u201d think it\u2019s sacrilegious to liken Smith to him. It\u2019s not like Curt Cignetti made the comparison at Big Ten Media Days last year or anything.\u00a0\n<\/p>\n
