{"id":773572,"date":"2026-05-04T22:58:17","date_gmt":"2026-05-04T22:58:17","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/us\/773572\/"},"modified":"2026-05-04T22:58:17","modified_gmt":"2026-05-04T22:58:17","slug":"otto-aerospace-appoints-scott-drennan-as-ceo","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/us\/773572\/","title":{"rendered":"Otto Aerospace appoints Scott Drennan as CEO"},"content":{"rendered":"<p id=\"h943373-p1\" class=\"permalinkable\">The Texas-based aircraft manufacturer that plans to move its operations to Jacksonville has a new CEO.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p id=\"h943373-p2\" class=\"permalinkable\">In a May 4 news release, Otto Aerospace announced the company\u2019s board appointed Scott Drennan, its president and chief operating officer, to serve as president and chief executive officer.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p id=\"h943373-p3\" class=\"permalinkable\">Drennan succeeds Paul Touw, who had served as CEO since 2022.<\/p>\n<p id=\"h943373-p4\" class=\"permalinkable\">\u201cGreat companies are built in chapters, and Paul was exactly the leader we needed to guide Otto through its formative years,\u201d Otto Aerospace Board Chair Dennis Muilenburg said in the release.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p id=\"h943373-p5\" class=\"permalinkable\">\u201cHe had the vision to see what this technology could become and the conviction to build a great organization around it.\u201d\u00a0<\/p>\n<p id=\"h943373-p6\" class=\"permalinkable\">The move comes after Otto\u2019s business jet, the Phantom 3500, completed preliminary design review in February. The company was known then as Otto Aviation but changed its name in September 2025.<\/p>\n<p id=\"h943373-p14\" class=\"permalinkable\">Otto said it would build more than 600,000 square feet of office and manufacturing space by Jan.1, 2032.
