SOUTH BEND, Ind. (WNDU) – Gensler has been picked by an architect firm for the redevelopment project of designing Colfax Corner in downtown South Bend.<\/p>\n
The plan will turn the former South Bend Tribune building into a research and innovation hub. The tribune called it home from 1921 until 2019.<\/p>\n
Plans also include a new five story research and office building in the city\u2019s growing tech and talent district.<\/p>\n
Notre Dame is a key partner, expected to take up about one third of the more than 200,000 square feet.<\/p>\n
