Becoming living art, the \u201cProject Runway\u201d paragon sent eyes widening in a pewter-colored, clinging piece, covered from head to toe in gossamer fabric with her face, hands and feet printed to match the grayish garb.\u00a0<\/p>\n

The veteran Victoria\u2019s Secret model \u2014 oft-praised for her over-the-top\u00a0love of costumery\u00a0<\/a>\u2014 rocked the outr\u00e9 look to meet The Met\u2019s \u201cFashion is Art\u201d dress code demands.\u00a0<\/p>\n \u201cI got inspired by The Veiled Vestal. I was like, I want to become her,\u201d Klum told Vogue. \u201cI started at The Met. I went walking around The Met. Raffaele Monti, he\u2019s done most of the sculptures from the 1800s. I looked and was like, \u2018Wow this is so beautiful,\u2019\u201d she said. \u201cThe drape and it\u2019s all on marble, but how can you make that with fabric? I look hard, but I\u2019m soft. It\u2019s foam and latex.\u201d<\/p>\n \u201cIt\u2019s a little warm.
