The New York Giants<\/a> have teamed up with an unusual partner for a worthy cause in New Jersey.<\/p>\n

The Giants have partnered with the Philadelphia Eagles<\/a> in an effort to expand girls’ flag football throughout the state, reports ESPN’s Adam Schefter.<\/p>\n

The initiative between the long-time rivals recently reached a significant milestone, as the New Jersey State Interscholastic Athletic Association (NJSIAA) voted to recognize girls’ flag football as a state-sanctioned sport at the high school level.<\/p>\n

New Jersey will officially become the 21st state to sanction girls’ flag football. The development marks a major accomplishment for both the Giants and the Eagles, who set aside their NFC East rivalry to pursue this rare joint effort.<\/p>\n

The two teams split their 2025 season series one game apiece. While their rivalry will surely be renewed ahead of Week 1 in September, both organizations were able to put aside their differences to support this important cause.<\/p>\n
