The nominations for the 79th Annual Tony Awards were announced on May 5 by Tony nominee\u00a0Uzo Aduba<\/a>\u00a0and Tony winner\u00a0Darren Criss<\/a>\u00a0on the official\u00a0Tony Awards YouTube channel<\/a>.<\/p>\n

As previously announced<\/a>, this year’s ceremony will honor Andr\u00e9 Bishop, Jules Fisher and James Lapine with Special Tony Awards for Lifetime Achievement in the Theatre and Mary-Mitchell Campbell<\/a> with the Isabelle Stevenson Tony Award. Tony Honors for Excellence in the Theatre<\/a> will also be presented to 1\/52 Project, Jake Bell, Kenn Lubin and Loren Plotkin.<\/p>\n

The 2026 ceremony,\u00a0hosted by P!NK<\/a>, will take place on June 7 at Radio City Music Hall in New York City, broadcasting live on CBS and streaming on Paramount+.<\/p>\n
