Carrollton Police are investigating a fatal shooting where two people were killed, and three others were injured during what police described as a business meeting.<\/p>\n
According to police, the shooting took place in the shopping center parking lot between people who knew each other and were involved in a business relationship. <\/p>\n
After the shooting, the gunman left the scene but was taken into custody at another location after a short foot chase. The suspect was identified as 69-year-old Seung Han Ho.<\/p>\n
Police said the shooting was not a random act of gunfire and there is no ongoing threat to the public.<\/p>\n
The shooting covered multiple scenes around the intersection of Hebron Parkway and the Sam Rayburn Tollway. Investigators have cordoned off a large part of the parking lot in front of the Gwangjang Korean Market and established a mobile command center across the street in the McDonald’s parking lot.<\/p>\n
NBC 5’s Sophia Beausoleil talked with witnesses at the scene, including one person who shared a video showing a half dozen officers, some carrying long guns, walking into a nearby restaurant.<\/p>\n
Carrollton Police are asking people to avoid the area until the parking lot reopens.<\/p>\n
