Like Miranda Priestly\u2019s brutal one-liners in The Devil Wears Prada 2, we\u2019re back and judging fashion \u2014 this time at the 2026 Met Gala.<\/a><\/p>\n

In New York City on Monday, celebrities took on the \u201cFashion Is Art\u201d dress code<\/a> \u2014\u00a0or risked Anna Wintour\u2019s side-eye \u2014 on the most unforgiving red carpet of all: the Metropolitan Museum of Art\u2019s treacherous staircase. So how did they do? We assembled a group of kids to give their unfiltered takes on \u201csparkly skeleton\u201d Beyonc\u00e9, \u201crobot\u201d Kim Kardashian, dragon master Sabrina Carpenter and the statuesque Heidi Klum.<\/p>\n

This go-round, a very important kid (VIK) leads the panel: Duke McCloud, the 6-year-old actor best known for his roles in All Her Fault and Kinda Pregnant. A style standout<\/a> at this year\u2019s Golden Globes in a powder blue double-breasted suit<\/a> with wing tips, he was more than qualified to weigh in on how the grown-ups did.<\/p>\n

Spoiler: He\u2019s a SZA superfan with a soft spot for anything gold, but he wanted more going on in Keke Palmer\u2019s look.<\/p>\n

Rounding out our group is a crew of kids ages 3 to 14, whose commentary is imaginative (from \u201chard-boiled egg\u201d to\u00a0 \u201cfrilled-neck lizard\u201d to \u201ca jellyfish\u201d) and often laugh-out-loud funny (see: Olivia Wilde\u2019s \u201cbasketbutt\u201d).<\/p>\n

Expect pop culture references galore: Harry Potter, Percy Jackson, Bluey, Moana, Despicable Me, Star Wars, Barbie and even a \u201cred version of Big Bird.\u201d They also put their math skills to work. To quote 8-year-old Zeppelin: \u201cI’ve counted seven belly buttons so far. … eight … nine.\u201d<\/p>\n
