Singer and rapper Bad Bunny<\/strong><\/a> had a rather awkward run-in with his ex-girlfriend Kendall Jenner<\/strong><\/a>\u2019s mother, Kris Jenner<\/strong><\/a>, at the 2026 Met Gala, and a video of the moment is currently getting widespread attention.<\/p>\n

On the red carpet of the May 4 event, the Grammy winner was seen sticking his arm out for a one-arm hug as he happened upon Kris, who awkwardly hugged his arm back and patted it a few times, sharing a brief exchange.<\/p>\n

Breaking the hug, Bad Bunny moved on to strike up a conversation with Kendall\u2019s sister Kim Kardashian<\/strong><\/a>, who was standing right behind Kris. As seen in the now-viral video, Kim and the singer seemed to interact for a couple of seconds before the two walked away from each other.<\/p>\n

People on the internet were quick to react to the video. One X user wrote<\/a>, \u201cThat Bad Bunny greeting with Kris Jenner felt so awkward that even I got tense,\u201d while another said<\/a>, \u201cThe whole family pissed at him. Always a bad situation sign.\u201d<\/p>\n

One fan joked about Bad Bunny\u2019s unrecognizably elderly appearance, which featured gray curls, sunspots and a cane, at the event.<\/p>\n

They commented<\/a>, \u201c[Kris is] over here now wanting to know who that gentleman was who greeted her.\u201d<\/p>\n

Meanwhile, another person noted that the interaction wasn\u2019t as awkward as it may now seem, writing<\/a>, \u201cIt\u2019s just that he hugged her weirdly.\u201d<\/p>\n
