The Girl Who Was Plugged In <\/p>\n
Deadline<\/a> reports Sophie Thatcher is attached to star in a film adaptation of James Tiptree, Jr.\u2018s Hugo Award-winning 1973 novella, The Girl Who Was Plugged In<\/a>, from The Babadook director Jennifer Kent. Thatcher plays \u201cdisfigured, suicidal young protagonist P Burke who is hired by a mega tech corporation to virtually operate a beautiful but brainless \u2018flesh body\u2019 called Delphi, grown in a lab with the sole purpose of influencing the masses and selling products. As Delphi\u2019s star rises, P Burke becomes enthralled by her and descends into a tech psychosis with disastrous consequences.\u201d<\/p>\n Starman <\/p>\n Deadline<\/a> also reports Brendan Fraser will star in Starman, a \u201ccosmic sci-fi thriller\u201d from Josh Wakely. The story concerns Fraser\u2019s character, a technologist who launches an expedition to Mars that flung millions of miles off-track by unforeseen events.<\/p>\n Man of Tomorrow <\/p>\n According to Deadline<\/a>, Matthew Lillard has joined the cast of Man of Tomorrow in a currently undisclosed role.<\/p>\n Clayface <\/p>\n James Gunn recently confirmed on Threads<\/a> that the Clayface seen in the upcoming solo film is the same character previously seen on Creature Commandos.<\/p>\n Christmas Chronicles 3 <\/p>\n During a recent interview with MovieWeb<\/a>, Kurt Russell stated he doesn\u2019t \u201cknow if they\u2019ll ever do\u201d a third Christmas Chronicles movie at Netflix.<\/p>\n They deal with their algorithms, and I\u2019ve always felt that it expanded their markets so fast on the first one, and the second one did pretty much the same thing. Once you\u2019ve got what you\u2019ve got, how much is a third one gonna garner you in terms of an expanded audience? That\u2019s the reality for things that are done on a lot of the streaming networks. I don\u2019t know if they\u2019ll ever do [another] one or not, but I loved playing the character. We wrap in early July at this point. So we\u2019re right about the halfway mark. All the scripts except the last one are written. We\u2019re shooting episode block 2, so we\u2019re just wrapping up episode 4 right now. We\u2019re heading into block 5 and 6, and then June-July will be the end.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n Star Wars: Ahsoka <\/p>\n Dave Filoni revealed he\u2019s now working on the visual effects for the second season of Star Wars: Ahoska in a new interview with Screen Rant<\/a>.<\/p>\n Working on it!
