{"id":780297,"date":"2026-05-07T19:27:16","date_gmt":"2026-05-07T19:27:16","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/us\/780297\/"},"modified":"2026-05-07T19:27:16","modified_gmt":"2026-05-07T19:27:16","slug":"rich-otoole-returns-to-fort-worth-stockyards-with-god-is-a-gentleman","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/us\/780297\/","title":{"rendered":"Rich O\u2019Toole Returns To Fort Worth Stockyards With \u201cGod Is A Gentleman\u201d"},"content":{"rendered":"<p data-start=\"314\" data-end=\"515\">Rich O\u2019Toole, a staple of Texas Country music for nearly two decades, is returning to the <strong>Fort Worth Stockyards<\/strong> on <strong>Friday, May 8<\/strong>, for a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ticketmaster.com\/rich-otoole-fort-worth-texas-05-08-2026\/event\/0C006470F9FFC5A8\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">headlining show<\/a> at Tannahill\u2019s Music Hall &amp; Lounge in Mule Alley.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"517\" data-end=\"729\">Hunter Hicks, whose songs \u201cCheers to Disagree\u201d and \u201cSnakes In Tall Grass\u201d were featured prominently in season two of the locally produced Taylor Sheridan series \u201cLandman,\u201d will support O\u2019Toole as the opening act.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"517\" data-end=\"729\"><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"\" src=\"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/us\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/03\/HEGlv0Fa8AA6iRt-515x842.jpeg\" width=\"236\" height=\"385\"\/><\/p>\n<p data-start=\"731\" data-end=\"1070\">O\u2019Toole was one of the first Texas artists to hold a concert fundraiser for victims of last year\u2019s devastating Texas floods and first responders. That concert event, which The Dallas Express <a href=\"https:\/\/www.google.com\/url?sa=t&amp;source=web&amp;rct=j&amp;opi=89978449&amp;url=https:\/\/dallasexpress.com\/state\/texas-country-artist-rich-otoole-delivers-music-fellowship-and-funds-for-hill-country-flood-victims\/&amp;ved=2ahUKEwjo19WRmb-TAxVWlmoFHY4hLAMQFnoECB4QAQ&amp;usg=AOvVaw20gfo4LIE_-bzg_LiewOL9\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">partnered<\/a> to help promote and support, along with others O\u2019Toole held around the state, raised nearly half a million dollars for Texas flood relief.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"731\" data-end=\"1070\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"\" src=\"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/us\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/03\/IMG_3839-1000x750-1-515x386.jpeg\" width=\"306\" height=\"229\"\/><\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1072\" data-end=\"1181\">DX caught up with the Texas Hill Country-based O\u2019Toole, who is touring behind his album \u201cGod Is a Gentleman.\u201d<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1183\" data-end=\"1652\">\u201cIt\u2019s so great to be back on tour, and the absolute highlight of this one for me is playing Tannahill\u2019s in the Fort Worth Stockyards,\u201d O\u2019Toole told DX. \u201cAnytime I\u2019m blessed to play the iconic Stockyards is special \u2014 there\u2019s so much history of legendary artists there \u2014 but I\u2019m a huge fan of the venue and what Tim Love has done there in Mule Alley. I\u2019ve been to several shows there myself, but it will be my first gig there, so I couldn\u2019t be more excited for this one.\u201d<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1654\" data-end=\"1749\">Asked about \u201cGod Is a Gentleman,\u201d O\u2019Toole said the human toll of the floods shaped the project.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1654\" data-end=\"1749\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/us\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/03\/images.jpeg\"\/><\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1751\" data-end=\"2161\">\u201cThe human loss of the flood really hit me hard.
