A gas station in Chicago is offering drivers an unusual way to save on filling their tank while also filling their tummy. <\/p>\n
The BP at the corner of North Western Avenue and West Fullerton Avenue in Logan Square that shares a parking lot with a Subway location is offering a 30 cent per gallon discount on regular gas with the purchase of three foot long sandwiches.<\/p>\n
On Thursday afternoon, the station was advertising $5.69 per gallon with a purchase of three subs\u2014a 30 cent difference from the $5.99 per gallon price without the sandwiches.<\/p>\n
With gas in Chicago now averaging roughly $5.50 per gallon according to AAA, many drivers would surely welcome any opportunity to save at the pump. <\/p>\n
Given Subway’s famous $5 foot long has long been a thing of the past, drivers would need spend at least $30 on sandwiches to secure the gas discount.<\/p>\n
