A man was killed in a hit-and-run crash in east Fort Worth last Sunday morning, police said.<\/p>\n

The man, identified by the Tarrant County Medical Examiner\u2019s Office as 35-year-old Jyce Dean Osby, was struck by a white vehicle while attempting to cross East Loop 820 at Brentwood Stair Road, police said.<\/p>\n

Osby was attempting to cross from the southbound to the northbound side of the highway by jumping over a retaining wall, according to a statement. The driver of the white vehicle did not stop after hitting Osby, who died at the scene.<\/p>\n

The Fort Worth Police Department\u2019s Traffic Investigations Unit is handling the case.<\/p>\n
