A woman was shot in the chest on Thursday morning at a south Fort Worth apartment by a person whom police took into custody.<\/p>\n

The woman was fired upon about 7 a.m. in the 2800 block Walton Avenue, according to a Fort Worth police spokesperson.<\/p>\n

The victim was taken to a hospital in a stable condition, police said.<\/p>\n

The suspect, Dakota Reynolds, and the victim were in an argument and fight before the shooting, police said.<\/p>\n

Reynolds, who is 22, was booked on suspicion of 11 offense counts, including aggravated assault that causes serious bodily injury-family violence. He was at the scene when officers arrived.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n
