Dante and Elizabeth put the pieces together and were left with decisions to make.

Key Takeaways

Elizabeth revealed she treated Rocco the night of the shooting.

Dante realized Lulu and Britt know the truth.

The fallout from Dante being kept in the dark.

Dante Got More Than He Bargained For From Elizabeth

When Dante (Dominic Zamprogna) called Elizabeth (Rebecca Herbst) into his office, the last thing he expected was the bombshell she dropped on him. However, that’s what happened after Dante confirmed Cullum’s (Andrew Hawkes) blood wasn’t on the gun that was used to shoot him.

Based on the blood on the gun, Dante was convinced even more that Jason (Steve Burton) wasn’t the shooter. The blood meant whoever shot Cullum was a rookie at shooting guns, and that’s not Jason.

Once she heard the outcome, Elizabeth was compelled to tell Dante she had treated a patient with a “slide bite” from a gun the night of the shooting. Elizabeth then revealed it was Rocco (Finn Carr), and she kept quiet because Lulu (Alexa Havins) asked her specifically to help Rocco.

It All Made Sense

After he listened to Elizabeth, Dante admitted that Rocco was on Jason’s short list of people he would protect, and Elizabeth agreed. Rocco isn’t just Sonny’s (Maurice Benard) grandson; he’s also Danny’s (Asher Antonyzyn) brother, and that means Jason has Rocco’s back.

That wasn’t all these two friends figured out. Dante realized Britt (Kelly Thiebaud) had to have known it was Rocco. Elizabeth believed that, too, based on how Britt had treated Rocco lately. However, she didn’t tell Dante about finding Rocco and Britt fighting at the hospital.

With a heartbroken look on his face, Dante declared that Lulu (Alexa Havins) had been told the truth, too. Based on how Lulu handled Rocco’s injury, it was clear to Dante that she was in the know.

The Fallout of Dante Learning The Truth

Elizabeth left Dante as he reeled from the bombshell and wondered what to do next. Dante’s now forced to decide between letting Jason rot in prison or destroying Rocco’s life.

The guilt of not having protected Rocco from even being in the position to shoot Cullum was already eating away at the police commissioner. Dante won’t put his son in prison, especially after what happened when he forced Michael (then Chad Duell) to admit he killed Claudia (Sarah Joy Brown).

However, that doesn’t mean Dante won’t have words for Lulu and Rocco for hiding this secret.

One thing became crystal clear when Dante and Elizabeth figured out that Rocco was the shooter. This secret isn’t going to stay a secret for much longer, since more people keep figuring it out.

Related

In the May 8 episode of General Hospital, two more people discovered that Jason wasn’t the person who…

[30
171,173,67,132,68
0":"post-784359","1":"post","2":"type-post","3":"status-publish","4":"format-standard","5":"has-post-thumbnail","7":"category-tv","8":"tag-entertainment","9":"tag-tv","10":"tag-united-states","11":"tag-unitedstates","12":"tag-us
["GET
