On Saturday, the Houston Astros<\/a> will continue their series with the Cincinnati Reds<\/a> in Ohio.<\/p>\n

The Astros are coming off a 10-0 win on Friday.<\/p>\n

Ahead of Saturday\u2019s game, the Astros announced<\/a> that they had claimed Rhylan Thomas<\/a> off waivers from the Seattle Mariners.<\/p>\n

Matt Kawahara of Houston Chronicle wrote:<\/a> \u201cThe Astros claimed outfielder Rhylan Thomas off waivers from the Mariners and will option him to Triple-A Sugar Land. Hunter Brown<\/a> transferred to the 60-day IL in a corresponding 40-man move.\u201d<\/p>\n

At 26, Thomas could be a good (low-risk) addition to the Astros organization.<\/p>\n

He is batting<\/a> .260 with 34 hits, two home runs, nine RBI\u2019s, 15 runs and six stolen bases in 31 Triple-A games this season.<\/p>\n
