\t\t\t \n\t\t\t\t\u00a0\u2013\u00a0 \t\t\t\u00a0\u00b7\u00a0 Kristen Kish<\/strong>, host of Bravo\u2019s Top Chef and star of season 4 of The Traitors, stopped by the Secret Los Angeles offices to play a game of This Or That<\/a><\/strong> \u2013 and revealed her favorite L.A. cuisine.<\/strong><\/p>\n The chef and Season 10 Top Chef winner chose between some Los Angeles staples, <\/strong>including street tacos, French dip, sushi, Korean barbecue, and chicken fingers. Ultimately, \u201cbecause we\u2019re in L.A.,\u201d Korean barbecue came out on top.<\/p>\n \u201cEven before you gave me the choices, if you said, \u2018 What\u2019s your go-to food when you come to L.A.?\u2019, I would\u2019ve 100% said Korean barbecue,\u201d Kish laughed at the game\u2019s conclusion. <\/p>\n L.A.\u2019s Koreatown is home to some incredible food<\/p>\n The Los Angeles area boasts the largest Korean population in the United States, with over 300,000 in the metropolitan area. Naturally, Koreatown has some authentic food on par with the food of Korea itself. And of course, the area\u2019s proximity to so many other cultures and flavors from around Los Angeles <\/a>cultivates some delicious fusion spots.<\/p>\n Earlier this year, The Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Rural Affairs,\u00a0<\/strong>and\u00a0the Korean Food Promotion Institute<\/strong>\u00a0recognized\u00a0three L.A. restaurants<\/a> as\u00a0\u201cOutstanding Korean Restaurants,\u201d<\/a>\u00a0celebrating their\u00a0authenticity, quality, and contribution<\/strong>\u00a0to spreading K-food culture internationally.<\/p>\n![\"\"](\"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/us\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/05\/50cf2e34646ab11b350beddf35bd4d50310c3e82dee3dda03499635493db4b9e.png\")
