A woman was charged on Thursday in connection with the assault of three people whom prosecutors allege she slashed on May 2 as a crowd gathered at an intersection in Fort Worth\u2019s Historic Southside neighborhood.<\/p>\n

Chelse Bracken, 31, was charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon in connection with the knife slashing of women who are 32, 25 and 21, according to a district clerk record. Two men were slashed at the same time.<\/p>\n

Police officers were monitoring a large crowd connected to a gang gathering when the five victims were cut about 9 p.m. near the intersection of New York Avenue and Bessie Street, according to a Fort Worth police record.<\/p>\n

The slashings occurred as there were reports to police of shots being fired and the road being blocked.<\/p>\n

Officers dispersed the crowd and found two slashing victims at the scene. Three other victims went by private vehicle to hospitals.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n
