The Phoenix 10K\u2019s 50th anniversary last June featured a <a href=\"https:\/\/ktar.com\/arizona-news\/phoenix-10k-50-years-26-2-mile-race\/5715431\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener nofollow\">full-length marathon<\/a> for the first time.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI\u2019m incredibly proud of what the Phoenix 10K has become over more than 50 years, and I\u2019m excited about where it\u2019s headed next,\u201d Mollen said in a release. \u201cThis race grew organically from small beginnings along the Arizona Canal into one of the most iconic running traditions in Arizona.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cAs I look to the future, there\u2019s no better steward than Life Time. \u2026 I\u2019m thrilled to remain personally involved as this cherished community event continues to evolve.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Registration is <a href=\"https:\/\/www.letsdothis.com\/us\/o\/180208\/checkout\/ticket?preferred=true&amp;utm_organiser_id=180208&amp;eventId=268058&amp;occurrenceId=21111176616&amp;login=skipped\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener nofollow\">open online<\/a> for the marathon, half-marathon, 10K, 5K, kids mile and Phoenix mile races.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cRunning continues to experience explosive participation growth, and athletes are seeking events that combine authenticity, quality and community,\u201d said Kimo Seymour, Senior Vice President of Media and Events at Life Time. \u201cThe Phoenix 10K embodies all of that.
