Ahead of Saturday\u2019s game, the Dodgers announced that they had claimed a player off waivers from the Cubs.<\/p>\n

The Dodgers wrote (via X):<\/a> \u201cThe Dodgers claimed LHP Charlie Barnes<\/a> from the Chicago Cubs<\/a>. In order to make room on the 40-man roster, the Dodgers transferred IF\/OF Tommy Edman<\/a> to the 60-day injured list.\u201d<\/p>\n

The Dodgers come into Saturday as the first-place team in the National League West with a 24-14 record in 38 games.<\/p>\n
