{"id":785708,"date":"2026-05-10T03:42:27","date_gmt":"2026-05-10T03:42:27","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/us\/785708\/"},"modified":"2026-05-10T03:42:27","modified_gmt":"2026-05-10T03:42:27","slug":"nyc-public-schools-social-worker-posted-images-of-bugs-on-video-of-jews-celebrating-holiday","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/us\/785708\/","title":{"rendered":"NYC public schools social worker posted images of bugs on video of Jews celebrating holiday"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>A NYC Department of Education social worker who\u2019s the ambassador of her high school\u2019s anti-religious bullying program allegedly posted demeaning pictures beneath a video of Orthodox Jews, images critics said echoed \u201cNazi propaganda,\u201d The Post has learned.<\/p>\n<p>Lauren Camiolo, a social worker at Chelsea\u2019s Landmark High School, uploaded images of beetles four different times in response to a Facebook video of the men celebrating Lag B\u2019Omer, which commemorates the death of one of the founders of Jewish mysticism, or Kabbalah.<\/p>\n<p>Critics slammed the social worker\u2019s post comparing Jews to insects, and said that imagery came straight out of Nazi Germany. <\/p>\n<p>Lauren Camiolo allegedly uploaded images of beetles four different times in response to a video posted on Facebook of the men celebrating Lag B\u2019Omer, which commemorates the death of one of the founders of Jewish mysticism. Lauren Camiolo\/ Facebook<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThat\u2019s a very dangerous and antisemitic trope coming from Nazi Germany, where Hitler would categorize Jews as subhuman and insects. He said to restore Germany\u2019s greatness, they had to exterminate the insects,\u201d New York City Public Schools Alliance President Karen Feldman said.<\/p>\n<p>Camiolo, 40, who records show has worked at the DOE since at least 2020, ironically serves as the Respect for All liaison at the school, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.schools.nyc.gov\/schools\/M419\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener nofollow\">a DOE website says. <\/a><\/p>\n<p>She earned $115,665 in 2025, public records show.<\/p>\n<p>The Respect for All program is designed to fight bullying and help schools \u201cfoster and maintain safe learning environments that are supportive, inclusive, and free from discrimination, harassment, and intimidation of any kind,\u201d <a href=\"https:\/\/www.schools.nyc.gov\/school-life\/school-environment\/respect-for-all\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener nofollow\">a DOE website says. <\/a><\/p>\n<p>\u201cWhen a Jewish student faces discrimination or bias, they have no one to go to if their Respect for All liaison traffics in antisemitism\u2026 a lot of kids are hurting,\u201d she added. <\/p>\n<p>Social worker Lauren Camiolo serves as the Respect for All liaison at Landmark High School. Too many educators use their political beliefs to hurt Jewish students and fellow educators,\u201d United Jewish Teachers President Moshe Spern said.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWhen the person responsible for \u2018Respect for All\u2019 expresses hostility toward Jews or white students, it raises serious concerns about both the educator and the school system in which she works,\u201d David Bernstein, founder of the education watchdog North American Values Institute, said.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cBullying and harassment have no place in any of NYC\u2019s 1,800+ schools, regardless of anyone\u2019s perceived race, color, age, creed, ethnicity, national origin, citizenship\/immigration status, religion, gender, gender identity, gender expression, sexual orientation, disability, or weight,\u201d the website states.<\/p>\n<p>The DOE employee\u2019s social media is rife with <a href=\"https:\/\/nypost.com\/2026\/05\/05\/us-news\/hateful-anti-israel-mob-descends-on-historic-nyc-synagogue-clash-with-cops-in-chaotic-protest\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">anti-Israel<\/a> comments and anti-white racism.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cGenocide\u00a0bloodshed of women &amp; children on holy land by colonizers in the name of God that they will never know,\u201d she posted on Facebook March 18, 2025, over an image of what appears to be the Ten Commandments.<\/p>\n<p>Camiolo commented GIFs of beetles crawling up the screen.  Aish Gesher\/Facebook<\/p>\n<p>\u201cChosen people do not steal &amp; harvest they create,\u201d she posted on Facebook July 30, 2025. <\/p>\n<p>\u201cZionism is cult a group of people incapable of thinking for themselves,\u201d she wrote on Facebook on Oct. 20, 2025.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cVictim syndrome of white colonizers is an art\u00a0how do you rationalize the blood of children,\u201d she posted two days later. <\/p>\n<p>\u201cThree key success of\u00a0#whitemediocracy\u00a0colonization, genocide, &amp; culture appropriation\u00a0#Blackwomeninwhitefields,\u201d she posted on Facebook in November 2024.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cNever trust a white woman,\u201d she captioned a photo of former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton greeting Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.<\/p>\n<p>Camiolo has also made anti-white social media posts. Lauren Camiolo\/ Facebook<\/p>\n<p>\u201cNever forget white women owned slaves &amp; had them raise their children.. don\u2019t be fooled by white women fragility,\u201d she posted on Facebook June 10, 2025. <\/p>\n<p>Camiolo threatened to call the police when reached for comment by The Post and accused the newspaper of harassment.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI\u2019m Jewish\u2026 I\u2019m also biracial I\u2019m going to the police now and showing them these messages for stalking and harassment\u2026 I fear for me and my sons [sic] safety,\u201d she wrote. <\/p>\n<p>Only 294 students attend Landmark High School, which was founded in 1994, and its students do not take the Regents in order to graduate, but instead has students complete written or oral projects.<\/p>\n<p>A source at the high school called Camiolo \u201cunhinged.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Camiolo has a history of posting anti-Israel content.
