{"id":786310,"date":"2026-05-10T10:16:16","date_gmt":"2026-05-10T10:16:16","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/us\/786310\/"},"modified":"2026-05-10T10:16:16","modified_gmt":"2026-05-10T10:16:16","slug":"public-input-sought-for-queensway-gold-project","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/us\/786310\/","title":{"rendered":"Public Input Sought for Queensway Gold Project"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>\t\t\t\t&#13;<\/p>\n<p>\t\t\t\t<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/us\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/05\/queensway-north-property-via-new-found-gold.jpg\" class=\"header-image\" alt=\"Public Input Sought for Queensway Gold Project\"\/><\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-caption-text\">Queensway North Property (via New Found Gold Corporation)<\/p>\n<p>People have about a month to comment on a proposal currently before government to construct a gold mine just east of Appleton in central Newfoundland.<\/p>\n<p>New Found Gold Corp. says the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.gov.nl.ca\/eccc\/projects\/project-2408\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Queensway Gold Project<\/a> represents a transition from several years of exploration at the site to full-scale mining.<\/p>\n<p>The project involves the development of four open pits, a waste rock storage facility, ore stockpiles, a crushing and sorting plant and access roads.
