{"id":787011,"date":"2026-05-10T17:46:14","date_gmt":"2026-05-10T17:46:14","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/us\/787011\/"},"modified":"2026-05-10T17:46:14","modified_gmt":"2026-05-10T17:46:14","slug":"motorcyclist-hospitalized-in-critical-condition-after-crash-at-west-side-intersection","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/us\/787011\/","title":{"rendered":"Motorcyclist hospitalized in critical condition after crash at West Side intersection"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>SAN ANTONIO \u2014A motorcyclist was critically injured after a crash near a West Side shopping center on Sunday morning. <\/p>\n<p>First responders were called around 10:35 a.m. to South General McMullen and Castroville Road near Las Palmas Shopping Center. <\/p>\n<p>Police said an elderly driver in a black pickup truck was turning into the H-E-B parking lot when he hit a motorcyclist who was traveling through the intersection.<\/p>\n<p>Witnesses told police the truck driver turned on a yellow signal at the light and the motorcyclist had the right of way. <\/p>\n<p>The motorcyclist, a man between 30-35 years old, was transported to a local hospital with life-threatening injuries. <\/p>\n<p>Comment with Bubbles<\/p>\n<p>BE THE FIRST TO COMMENT<\/p>\n<p>No charges are expected to be filed.
