Sunday was different. <\/p>\n
Sunday, they owned the building. <\/p>\n
Sunday, they made it their home. <\/p>\n
The only resistance came from the ear-splitting 76ers public address announcer. <\/p>\n
His effort was futile. <\/p>\n
It started in warmups, with Knicks fans booing Joel Embiid.<\/p>\n
\u201cI thought we were back in the Garden for a second,\u201d Hart said.<\/p>\n

To add salt in the wound, a group of Knicks fans brought mini-posters of Mitchell Robinson\u2019s alley-oop dunk Friday over Embiid and tried to hand them out to 76ers fans.<\/p>\n
\u201cMan, Mitch did his thing right here, so shout-out to the fans,\u201d McBride said.<\/p>\n

Before the series began, Embiid called on 76ers fans to hold on to their tickets and not let it be a repeat of two years ago, when Knicks fans invaded Xfinity Mobile Arena. <\/p>\n
The team limited tickets to residents of the Philadelphia area, mirroring the Pistons plan from a year ago in the first round against the Knicks. <\/p>\n

The takeover seemed to anger Tyrese Maxey.<\/p>\n
\u201cIt absolutely sucks, if I\u2019m being honest. It just sucks,\u201d the star guard said. \u201cThat\u2019s really all I can say about it, man. It\u2019s hard. It\u2019s definitely difficult. It\u2019s only one way to put a stop to it and it\u2019s we have to go out there and win these games.<\/p>\n
