JACKSONVILLE, N.C. \u2014 A 35-year-old Jacksonville woman is facing multiple charges following an incident at Onslow Memorial Hospital over the weekend.<\/p>\n
Tammy Spencer was arrested Saturday, May 9, and charged with felony assault on emergency personnel, as well as intoxicated and disruptive behavior and disorderly conduct.<\/p>\n
Arrest warrants state that Spencer allegedly assaulted a person by grabbing the victim\u2019s shoulders twice and causing a cut to the victim\u2019s finger. The incident reportedly occurred in an area where a disturbance was either happening or imminent.<\/p>\n
Authorities say Spencer appeared intoxicated while inside Onslow Memorial Hospital and engaged in disruptive behavior. She is accused of intentionally causing a public disturbance by throwing her belongings around the emergency room lobby and yelling.<\/p>\n
Following her arrest, Spencer was transported to the Onslow County Jail, where she remains without bond. Officials say she was already on pretrial release for a prior offense at the time of the incident.<\/p>\n
