A missing snowmobiler has been found dead in northern B.C.<\/p>\n
Atlin RCMP said three people had set out to retrieve a broken-down snow machine in Haines Pass when one of the group got separated from the others and failed to meet up with his party.<\/p>\n
Due to treacherous winter conditions and zero visibility, rescue efforts were limited on Saturday.<\/p>\n
On Sunday, a break in the weather allowed a helicopter and snowmobile group to access the area where the missing person was thought to be located. At approximately 2 p.m., the missing man was found deceased, about 4 kilometres from his last known location.<\/p>\n
The investigation has been handed over to the BC Coroners Service.<\/p>\n
