It\u2019s annoying because now I look back at it and, yeah, that\u2019s what cost me from having a good outing.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>With the Dodgers\u2019 rubber-match loss, the Braves took sole possession of the best record in the majors. The Dodgers (24-16) dropped the series to the Braves (28-13) after scoring three or fewer runs in each game.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI thought we turned the corner in Houston,\u201d <a class=\"link\" href=\"https:\/\/www.latimes.com\/sports\/dodgers\/story\/2025-11-02\/dodgers-manager-dave-roberts-three-world-series-titles\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">manager Dave Roberts<\/a> said. \u201cWe kind of got back down a little bit this series. \u2026 It\u2019s hard to articulate. There\u2019s some empty at-bats, there\u2019s some early outs that are not just quality outs. There\u2019s the passing the baton to the next guy \u2014 and sometimes it just doesn\u2019t happen.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>After Wrobleski cruised through the first inning in just six pitches \u2014 first-pitch flyout, four-pitch strikeout, first-pitch groundout \u2014 he had an uncharacteristically long second inning.<\/p>\n<p><a class=\"link\" class=\"link\" href=\"https:\/\/www.latimes.com\/sports\/lakers\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Lakers<\/a> and the defending champion Oklahoma City Thunder, it is no surprise that the Thunder lead three games to none.<\/p>\n<p>What is shocking is that, with a <a class=\"link\" href=\"https:\/\/www.nba.com\/game\/okc-vs-lal-0042500223\/box-score\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">131-108 win<\/a> Saturday night at <a class=\"link\" href=\"https:\/\/crypto.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">Crypto.com<\/a> Arena, the Thunder steamrolled to victory
