{"id":788859,"date":"2026-05-11T13:58:15","date_gmt":"2026-05-11T13:58:15","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/us\/788859\/"},"modified":"2026-05-11T13:58:15","modified_gmt":"2026-05-11T13:58:15","slug":"notre-dame-ot-recruit-oluwasemilore-olubobola-commitment-date","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/us\/788859\/","title":{"rendered":"Notre Dame OT recruit Oluwasemilore Olubobola commitment date"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Notre Dame football could land a commitment from a five-star recruit Tuesday.<\/p>\n<p>That\u2019s when Jersey City (N.J.) <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.on3.com\/high-school\/st-peters-prep-jersey-city-nj-24054\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener nofollow\">St. Peter\u2019s Prep<\/a><\/strong> five-star offensive tackle <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.on3.com\/rivals\/oluwasemilore-olubobola-243600\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener nofollow\">Oluwasemilore Olubobola<\/a><\/strong> will reveal his decision, according to <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.on3.com\/rivals\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener nofollow\">Rivals<\/a> <\/strong>national recruiting reporter <strong>Hayes Fawcett<\/strong>. The 6-foot-6, 295-pound Olubobola will make his announcement live on the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/@RivalsRecruits\/streams\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener nofollow\"><strong>Rivals YouTube channel<\/strong><\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>The Fighting Irish will be one of three hats on the table for the No. 25 overall player and No. 3 offensive tackle in the 2027 class. Also the top rising senior football recruit in New Jersey, Olubobola will choose between Notre Dame, Miami and Texas A&amp;M.<\/p>\n<p>Olubobola\u2019s latest visit was to Notre Dame the weekend of April 25 for the Blue-Gold spring game. That was his first trip to South Bend after adding a scholarship offer from Irish offensive line coach Joe Rudolph on March 19. In addition to the Irish, 36 other Power Four programs offered him a scholarship.<\/p>\n<p>If Olubobola were to commit to Notre Dame, he would become the third offensive line recruit in the 2027 cycle.
