Manager Dave Roberts said he would have Betts hit second or third in the batting order though he was batting .179 with two home runs and seven RBIs in eight games before the injury.<\/p>\n<p class=\"ff-h fs-16 lh-1pt6 mg-b-15 article-content\" use-external-image=\"false\" data-v-ace7f8b6=\"\">Roberts did not say who would be sent down to free up a roster spot for Betts, a four-time <a class=\"entity\" href=\"https:\/\/www.foxsports.com\/mlb\/world-series\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">World Series<\/a> champion and the 2018 American League MVP.
