{"id":790508,"date":"2026-05-12T06:43:13","date_gmt":"2026-05-12T06:43:13","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/us\/790508\/"},"modified":"2026-05-12T06:43:13","modified_gmt":"2026-05-12T06:43:13","slug":"barcelona-achieve-a-record-e16-4-million-revenue-from-el-clasico-vs-real-madrid","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/us\/790508\/","title":{"rendered":"Barcelona achieve a record \u20ac16.4 million revenue from El Clasico vs Real Madrid"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><a href=\"https:\/\/barcauniversal.com\/three-takeaways-from-barcelona-2-0-real-madrid-la-liga-md35\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener nofollow\">Sunday night was a special occasion for FC Barcelona<\/a> as they won the La Liga title, doing so by beating their bitter rivals Real Madrid at the Spotify Camp Nou in a memorable fashion.<\/p>\n<p>Needing only one point from the game to secure the title, the Blaugrana beat Alvaro Arbeloa &amp; co. 2-0 thanks to goals from Marcus Rashford and Ferran Torres, to lift the fifth trophy of the Hansi Flick era.<\/p>\n<p>Record revenue for a Clasico<\/p>\n<p>Not only on the pitch, but Barcelona also enjoyed a successful night off the field as well. <\/p>\n<p>Indeed, according to <a href=\"https:\/\/as.com\/futbol\/primera\/el-botin-del-barca-en-el-clasico-una-liga-y-164-millones-f202605-n\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener nofollow\">AS<\/a>, the Catalans also set a new revenue record for a Clasico: \u20ac16.4 million.<\/p>\n<p>The final figure has not yet been completely confirmed, although any last-minute adjustment is expected to increase the total rather than reduce it.<\/p>\n<p>Speaking before the match, Barcelona CEO Manel del Rio had said: <strong>\u201cIt\u2019s important to understand that 80% of the total capacity was for season ticket holders or members with individual tickets. <\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>\u201cBut with that percentage and seeing the demand, we\u2019ve achieved a record revenue compared to last year: \u20ac13.8 million.
