Instead, it&#8217;s designed as advisory or an estimate only.<\/p>\n<p><a id=\"elk-374b5a8f-9eb7-4e10-8b6b-d03f2fa164ea\" class=\"paywall\" aria-hidden=\"true\"\/>Haptic feedback<\/p>\n<p id=\"elk-e8019aa0-6a4c-43df-b06b-98ac21b387b5\">RingConn&#8217;s Smart Vibration Alerts are interesting: it&#8217;s a feature not currently used by the top smart rings like the Oura Ring 4 and the <a data-analytics-id=\"inline-link\" href=\"https:\/\/www.techradar.com\/health-fitness\/samsung-galaxy-ring-review\" data-url=\"https:\/\/www.techradar.com\/health-fitness\/samsung-galaxy-ring-review\" data-hl-processed=\"none\" data-mrf-recirculation=\"inline-link\" data-before-rewrite-localise=\"https:\/\/www.techradar.com\/health-fitness\/samsung-galaxy-ring-review\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Samsung Galaxy Ring<\/a>. Instead, it represents smart rings adopting an element of interactivity rather than remaining focused, quiet wearables for data collection.<\/p>\n<p>However, rather than get into alerting you to phone notifications, the RingConn Gen 3&#8217;s Smart Vibration Alerts are only for health events, with the press release stating that &#8216;Gen 3 is not trying to become a noisy mini-smartwatch&#8217;.<\/p>\n<p>&#8216;The vibration feature is health-first, not message-first. That keeps the ring aligned with what people actually want from this category: helpful guidance without constant distraction.&#8217; Presumably, those health events include features similar to the <a data-analytics-id=\"inline-link\" href=\"https:\/\/www.techradar.com\/news\/wearables\/best-smart-watches-what-s-the-best-wearable-tech-for-you-1154074\" data-url=\"https:\/\/www.techradar.com\/news\/wearables\/best-smart-watches-what-s-the-best-wearable-tech-for-you-1154074\" data-hl-processed=\"none\" data-mrf-recirculation=\"inline-link\" data-before-rewrite-localise=\"https:\/\/www.techradar.com\/news\/wearables\/best-smart-watches-what-s-the-best-wearable-tech-for-you-1154074\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">best smartwatches<\/a>, alerting the user to unusually high or low heart rates.
