Ben Kingsley and Max Minghella are the latest A-listers joining \u201cWhite Lotus\u201d Season 4<\/a>.<\/p>\n

The duo was named in a Monday casting announcement via Instagram<\/a>, alongside Swedish-speaking actor Pekka Strang.<\/p>\n

\u201cNew company is on the way,\u201d read the social media upload. \u201c#TheWhiteLotus\u00a0season 4 welcomes Ben Kingsley, Max Minghella and Pekka Strang.\u201d<\/p>\n

The Oscar-winning actor (pictured above in August 2025) is known for roles in \u201cSchindler\u2019s List,\u201d \u201cGandhi\u201d and more. Mike Marsland\/WireImage<\/p>\n

The first slide in the carousel featured a headshot of Kingsley, an 82-year-old Oscar winner known for roles in \u201cGandhi,\u201d \u201cSchindler\u2019s List\u201d and more.<\/p>\n

As for Minghella, the 40-year-old portrayed Nick Blaine on \u201cThe Handmaid\u2019s Tale\u201d from 2017 to 2025.<\/p>\n

Strang, for his part, is a Finnish star who recently acted in Netflix\u2019s \u201cThe Last Kingdom Seven Kings Must Die\u201d in 2023.<\/p>\n

The latest installment of the series is currently filming in France.<\/p>\n

The star-studded cast also includes Max Greenfield, Heather Graham, Kumail Nanjiani, Rosie Perez and more stars.<\/p>\n

Helena Bonham Carter, notably, exited the show<\/a> nine days after production began.<\/p>\n

The actress, 59, reportedly left over \u201ccreative differences\u201d with creator and director Mike White.<\/p>\n

The filmmaker, 55, asked Carter for a more \u201cboisterous performance,\u201d<\/a> according to Variety.<\/p>\n

An HBO spokesperson told Page Six that it became \u201capparent that the character which Mike White created for Helena Bonham Carter did not align once on set.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cHBO, the producers and Mike White are saddened that they won\u2019t get to work with her, but remain ardent fans and very much hope to work with the legendary actress on another project soon,\u201d the statement concluded.<\/p>\n

Carter, who was playing a washed-out star chasing a comeback, has since been replaced by Laura Dern<\/a>.<\/p>\n

We confirmed the \u201cBig Little Lies\u201d star, 59, is not taking over Carter\u2019s part, with White writing Dern her own character instead.<\/p>\n
