A long-vacant former real estate office in Del Mar has been transformed into an expansive nursery and gift shop, with an inviting cafe at its center. The new Terra Bella Nursery and Selva Coffee opened on May 1 in Del Mar Shopping Center on Via de la Valle, immediately becoming a destination for plant lovers and green thumbs.<\/p>\n

Like Terra Bella\u2019s other locations in the Midway District and South San Diego, the exterior is painted with eye-catching dark floral murals. Inside, a neon sign at the front counter aptly reads \u201cWelcome to the jungle\u201d as foliage fills almost every surface of the sprawling 8,827-square-foot pink-hued facility with cascading tendrils of plants like Vinca major dangling from the ceiling. Outside, rows and rows of plants, flowers, trees, succulents, pots and planters can be found.<\/p>\n
