A day after the brazen attack, authorities released a photo of the man they believe is responsible for attacking a woman in a Texas Medical Center parking garage.<\/p>\n
HOUSTON \u2014 Investigators released a surveillance image of a man accused of attacking a medical researcher in the Texas Medical Center<\/a>.<\/p>\n The image was released a day after the attack at a parking garage<\/a> at the intersection of Fannin Street and Dryden Road — the Texas Medical Center Garage 1. A KHOU 11 News source said the victim works at Houston Methodist’s Research Institute.<\/p>\n RELATED: Medical researcher hospitalized after being attacked in Texas Medical Center parking garage<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n The man attacked the woman<\/a> just after 7 a.m. while she was sitting in her car. Hospital officials said several employees witnessed the attack and rendered first aid before first responders got to the scene.<\/p>\n Part of the Houston Methodist campus was temporarily locked down due to the incident.<\/p>\n The victim was taken to a nearby emergency room for treatment and was later released. They said they didn’t believe it was a planned attack. The photo they released on Tuesday showed a Black man in a red Houston Rockets hoodie with the hood over his head. He appears to be walking on a METRORail platform. He’s also wearing what appears to be a black backpack.
