Following a May 4 fire<\/a>\u00a0that has temporarily closed Broadway’s Eugene O’Neill Theatre, long-time home of the Tony-winning\u00a0The Book of Mormon<\/a>,\u00a0in-person ticket sales for Book of Mormon\u00a0have been relocated to the nearby August Wilson Theatre (245 West 52nd Street), current home of Dog Day Afternoon<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Patrons seeking to purchase tickets for The Book of Mormon in person or to speak with box-office staff are encouraged to visit the August Wilson during regular operating hours (Monday 10 AM-6 PM, Tuesday-Saturday 10 AM-8 PM, Sunday noon-6 PM) until further notice.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Performances for\u00a0Book of Mormon are currently canceled through May 17, with performances expected to resume in coming weeks. Additional updates regarding repairs and box-office operations at the Eugene O\u2019Neill will be shared as they become available.\u00a0The Eugene O\u2019Neill Theatre and The August Wilson Theatre are both owned and operated by ATG Entertainment<\/a>.<\/p>\n

The Book of Mormon
\n opened on Broadway March 24, 2011, subsequently winning nine 2011 Tony
\nAwards, including Best Musical, as well as the Grammy for
\nBest Musical Theatre
\nAlbum. The Broadway production also won five Drama Desk Awards,
\nincluding Best Musical; the NY Drama Critics Circle Award for Best
\nMusical; the Drama League Award for Best Musical; and four Outer Critics
\n Circle Awards, including Best Musical.<\/p>\n

The Book of Mormon features
\na book, music, and lyrics by Trey Parker<\/a>, Robert Lopez<\/a>, and Matt Stone<\/a>.
\nThe production is choreographed by Casey Nicholaw<\/a> and directed by
\nNicholaw and Parker.<\/p>\n

The musical also has set design by Scott
\nPask, costume design by Ann Roth<\/a>, lighting design by Brian MacDevitt<\/a>,
\nsound design by Brian Ronan<\/a>, hair design by Josh Marquette<\/a>,
\norchestrations by Larry Hochman<\/a> and Stephen Oremus<\/a>, music supervision
\nand vocal arrangements by Oremus, dance music arrangements by Glen
\nKelly, musical direction by Justin Mendoza, and casting by Carrie
\nGardner.<\/p>\n

The West End production opened in February 2013, winning four Olivier
