The City of Fort Worth is bringing back Movies That Matter, a free film series aimed at highlighting human rights issue worldwide, later this month.<\/p>\n

The city announced in a blog post<\/a> that the series would return at 7 p.m. on Thursday, May 28, at the Modern Art Museum of Fort Worth, 3200 Darnell St.<\/p>\n

This month’s film will be “The Revolution Generation,” which was released in 2021. Admission is free, but residents should make reservations online<\/a>. <\/p>\n

An exploration of world-changing activism and the potential of the largest youth generation in history, the film shows examples of young leaders working to revolutionize systems that have failed their generation.<\/p>\n

It paints a powerful and hopeful picture of how today’s youth can solve global political and environmental crises.<\/p>\n

Fort Worth Movies That Matter is a free, quarterly film series established in 2010 to create awareness in the community about human rights issues affecting people in Fort Worth and across the world. <\/p>\n

Each event features a film screening, followed by a moderated discussion intended to offer space for reflection and dialogue. Screenings are held in March, June, September, and December. <\/p>\n
