(KTTC) \u2013 Mayo Clinic announced Tuesday that President and CEO Gianrico Farrugia will step down at the end of 2026.<\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">Farrugia has filled the role since January 2019. Mayo Clinic said Farrugia has led the clinic through a period of significant strategic advancement and navigated substantial external change.<\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">According to Mayo Clinic, the Board of Trustees has initiated a formal leadership transition process that is consistent with the organization\u2019s bylaws.
