You put that little ratbag in his place.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-line-height-copy  lrv-a-font-body-l   \">\n\tBut the former Faces bandmates also made music news that day when they reunited onstage as part of the King\u2019s Trust Celebration concert at the Royal Albert Hall to perform \u201cOoh La Laa\u201d and \u201cGood Rockin\u2019 Tonight\u201d with house band Jools Holland &amp; His Rhythm and Blues Orchestra. Wood did most of the vocal lifting in \u201cOoh La Laa,\u201d just as he did on the original 1973 Faces recording, and Stewart sang lead on \u201cGood Rockin\u2019 Tonight,\u201d which he recorded with Holland in 2024 on their collaborative LP Swing Fever.\u00a0<\/p>\n<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-line-height-copy  lrv-a-font-body-l   \">\n\tThe Prince\u2019s Trust is an organization founded by King Charles in 1976. It supports young people across England facing economic uncertainty. The first Prince\u2019s Trust fundraising concert took place at the Royal Albert Hall in 1982 and featured performances by Kate Bush, Phil Collins, Pete Townshend, Madness, and Robert Plant. Mick Jagger, Elton John, George Michael, Sting, Eric Clapton, Tom Jones, and Mike and the Mechanics have played at follow-up events. The mini Faces reunion was the highlight of the event this year, which also included performances by Rita Ora, Craig David, and Anne-Marie, along with an appearance by George and Amal Clooney.\u00a0<\/p>\n<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-line-height-copy  lrv-a-font-body-l   \">\n\tRod Stewart and Ron Wood have been toying with the idea of recording a Faces reunion album with drummer Kenney Jones for many years. In a <a rel=\"noreferrer noopener nofollow\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.telegraph.co.uk\/music\/news\/kenney-jones-interview-small-faces-autumn-stone\/\">recent interview with The Telegraph<\/a>, Jones said they\u2019ve already recorded 11 songs. \u201cNot all of them are going to be right [for the album],\u201d he said. \u201cBut most of them are good. I can\u2019t see it coming out this year. But I can see it coming out next year. Everyone\u2019s doing different things. We do little snippets [of recording] here and there. Then all of a sudden, the Stones are out [on tour] again, Rod\u2019s out again\u2026\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\t\tEditor\u2019s picks<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-line-height-copy  lrv-a-font-body-l   \">\n\tIt should be noted that a Faces reunion album is the classic rock equivalent of Donald Trump\u2019s healthcare plan. It\u2019s been on the verge of coming together for the better part of a decade. Whenever the members of the band speak about it, they say it\u2019s about a year off.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-line-height-copy  lrv-a-font-body-l   \">\n\tJones is correct that Rod Stewart has <a rel=\"noreferrer noopener nofollow\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/rodstewart.com\/tour-dates\/\">a busy schedule.<\/a> He resumes his residency at Caesar\u2019s Palace on May 27, and then plays amphitheaters and arenas all across North America over the summer, before heading back to Vegas in August. He\u2019s not right about the Stones\u2019 touring schedule being an issue. They haven\u2019t played a show since July 2024, decided against touring Europe in 2025 and 2026 after venues were already on hold, and have no plans at the moment to play shows in support of their <a href=\"https:\/\/www.rollingstone.com\/music\/music-news\/rolling-stones-foreign-tongues-new-album-1235557971\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">upcoming LP, Native Tongues.<\/a><\/p>\n<p>\t\tTrending Stories<\/p>\n<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-line-height-copy  lrv-a-font-body-l   \">\n\t\u201cOh, I mean, we can talk next year,\u201d Keith Richards told the AP when asked about a Stones tour. \u201cI mean, possibly, you know, I mean, at the moment, we\u2019re just sort of saying we finished the record, let\u2019s do this. Not this year anyway.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-line-height-copy  lrv-a-font-body-l   \">\n\tIn the meantime, Ron Wood has booked <a href=\"https:\/\/ronniewood.com\/news\/ronnie-to-play-cologne-and-kentish-town-forum\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener nofollow\">a handful of solo shows<\/a> in Europe this summer.
